We Offer a Range of Services to Meet Your Needs
We provide advocacy under spot purchase arrangement for people aged 18 and over, funded by a local authority, who live within Northamptonshire or any of the surrounding counties of Warwickshire, Bedfordshire, Leicestershire, Buckinghamshire, Rutland, Lincolnshire and Oxfordshire- to a distance of 40 miles from the Northants county boundary, who are funded from local authorities outside Northamptonshire.
N.B. WE CAN consider referrals from further afield by negotiation with the referrer. In such cases we discuss the most cost effective way of delivering a quality service that takes into account the needs of the individual. In such cases mileage costs of 45p ( current HMRC rate) will apply in addition to our hourly fee.

Paid RPR (Relevant Persons Representative) under DOLS (MCA 2005 and 2009)

Care Act Assessment under the Care Act 2014

Rule 1.2 Rep (under Community DOLS)

Litigation Friend for Civil County Court or Court of Protection​

Generic Advocacy- self-funded or through financial appointee/family funded- For a range of issues including financial and safeguarding, support with EHCP ( aged over 18) support with ASD/ADHD assessments ( aged over 18) NB We can take referrals for those aged under 18 but a parent/guardian would be the referrer and fund our service.

NON-ADVOCACY SERVICES OFFERED

INDEPENDENT AUDIT-We offer an Independent quality assurance AUDIT service, obtaining supporting evidence in readiness for CQC inspections, capturing why and how you are well led, safe, responsive, caring and compliant with CQC regulations and the law. The comprehensive report we produce will include all this i the findings and showcase what you do well and make recommendations that will be helpful to assist/ enhance the service to be the best it can be.

TRAINING:-Bespoke training tailored to individual needs of the organisation that can be delivered FACE to FACE or on TEAMS, whatever is your preference. This includes:-

MENTAL CAPACITY ACT-to include:- How it is integral to your practice in the field and bespoke to your individual needs.

SAFEGUARDING Safeguarding is enshrined in law and is EVERYONES responsibility.

ADVOCACY AWARENESS RAISING:-Raising awareness of professional duties to involve advocates to ensure vulnerable people have a voice and their legal rights are upheld, including the benefits of advocacy involvement.

VOLUNTEER ADVOCACY TRAINING- Would your organisation benefit from having some volunteer advocates?- We can deliver a 6 hour basic course, or a more in depth 20 hour course FACE to FACE to ensure your volunteers are well training and can confidently provide generic advocacy related to the field in which you work.

FOLLOW UP CONSULTANCY:- Following training in any of the above we can provide a one off, or ongoing support or supervision to your employees or volunteers.

Prices for providing Independent Advocacy services start at £45 per hour plus vat and training, auditing and consultancy/supervision packages start from £270 plus vat upwards depending upon your requirements
